"Almost two years ago, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). For about 9 months, I underwent several different fertility treatments from Clomid to hormone shots with no success. After surgery for a twisted ovary and a five-day hospital stay for hyper-stimulation as a result of my first round of IVF, I didn’t think there was hope for me to get pregnant.
Several of my friends who went through fertility suggested doing acupuncture. I was willing to do whatever it took, so I immediately booked an appointment at Coral Gables Acupuncture and began a 12-week treatment for fertility. At the end of the 12 weeks, I underwent IVF and soon after found out that it worked!

I loved Dr.Chasen and the staff at Coral Gables Acupuncture from the start. Dr Chasen was very kind and professional and carefully explained how acupuncture worked.
Each acupuncture session was painless and very relaxing. After about 8 sessions I was extremely happy to find out I was pregnant. Dr Chasen has been great and the acupuncture has even helped with morning sickness.

"Back in 2002 I developed some strange symptoms. I would have balance problems, vertigo, fatigue, dizziness, numbness and tingling feelings in my arms and legs. These symptoms would come and go throughout the years. Then one day I had difficulty walking as I left a restaurant. My head was bobbing and my legs would not hold me so the paramedics were called. There began the extensive tests and chain of neurologists who tried to figure out what was wrong with me. I had extreme fatigue and couldn't walk much and used a wheel chair most of the time. Finally, I was diagnosed with multipl sclerosis in 2003. I was prescribed medication via injection to slow down the number of attacks. These injections had side effects and were not recommended for me because of other health problems and other medications that I was on. So I decided to try acupuncture instead. I was so pleased that I did because I improved each time I came for a treatment. My pain decreased to the point where my energy improved and 1 could walk better and eventually ride a bike again. I also had pain and spasms in my legs everyday. This is hard to believe but, after just one acupuncture treatment the leg pain and spasms were gone. I feel very fortunate that acupuncture has improved the quality of my life. I now highly recommend acupuncture to everyone I know who tells me they have medical problems.
